katie schultz

is a writer and artist with a passion for all forms of media, sustainability, food, design, and arts and crafts. Currently, she covers celebrity real estate news for Architectural Digest.

A 2018 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studies in Cinema and Media Culture and minors in Creative Writing and Art. She loves getting involved with all types of creative processes.

With a sharp eye for detail, her artwork frequently features painstakingly tiny components, such as the depiction of a piece of plaid washi tape on a broken cell phone in "Sacred Objects," made up of screen-printed lines less than a millimeter thick. Her work often examines complex emotions set in scenes of nostalgia and mundanity.
